St. Michael's Grief Support
The vision of St. Michael's Grief Ministry
is to reach out to people when they have had a death loss. St. Michael's
Grief Group is a support group for members of our community who
have lost a spouse, child, family member or a friend. A group is
offered twice a year. Each group meets on 4 consecutive weeks for
two and a half hours each week.
St. Michael's Grief Support Team was established in 1983. Some of
the services offered for grief are:
- A small library of reference materials located in the parish
office
- Grief support groups offered twice a year
- Resources for other grief support groups in the area
- Grief support team members to talk to
Contact the Grief Support Team through the parish office at 303-690-6797.
Anyone who feels called to minister to those who mourn can be
a part of this ministry. There is no training needed to pray for
those who have experienced a loss, or to help with sending cards
or letters, organizing the library or any other ideas that might
help those suffering from grief and loss. Are you interested in
serving with this ministry? Contact the Parish
Office for details.
