Ministry
of Proclamation Mission Statement
We proclaim God’s Word to His people at all public celebrations
of the community of St. Michael the Archangel. Our proclamation
includes the testimony of personal lives conformed to Christ
and in the prayerful and prepared public reading of the Scriptures:
Sunday and weekday Eucharist; Penance services; Scripture
services and other devotions. |
To be eligible to participate in this public ministry, registered
parishioners must be over the age of 16 and be fully initiated,
practicing Catholics. Fully initiated, practicing Catholics are
those who have received all of the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism,
Eucharist, Confirmation) and if married, are in Sacramental marriages
(marriages recognized by the Catholic Church).
