Ministry Responsibility Description

Brief description of ministry: Responsible for the decoration of the Worship Space, caring for the plants and flowers in the gathering and worship spaces, cleaning the sacred art and furnishings and holy water fonts. The committee works with the Worship Council to assure that the flowers and decorations are in sync with the Church Liturgy. Cleaning tasks may include vacuuming, dusting, wiping down pews, etc.

Qualifications: Willingness to work with a group of people and do whatever cleaning or decorating tasks are requested by Father and/or the office

Training: Provided by A & E Committee

Time Commitment: Thursday mornings after daily Mass and special occasions as requested. The Thursday morning time commitment is about an hour or so.

Miscellaneous: We would like people who are available and willing to work with the committee on Thursdays. However, we realize that other time requirements come up on occasion. Therefore, everyone is trained in every task so that all tasks can be completed when necessary by available volunteers.
