Preschool Staff

Dee Anne Toby, Director of St. Michael’s Preschool.  I attended the University of Oklahoma, and graduated from the University of New Orleans with a B.A. in Education.  I joined the preschool staff in 1998.  I am responsible for the financial management of the preschool, the school curriculum, the teaching activities of the teachers, and the education and safety of 130 preschool children.  I have lived in Colorado for 42 years.  Spare time activities include reading, motorcycle touring and playing with grandbabies.

Jenny Weidner, Assistant Director/ Preschool Teacher. I graduated from Illinois State University with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education. I have worked in either business or education since graduating from high school. I think it is rewarding to observe children grow and develop while they are learning to become good friends. I grew up in Buffalo, New York and moved to Illinois where I met my husband. We have 2 children, one born in Indiana and one born here in Colorado. I have been working at St. Michael’s Preschool since 2006 and look forward to many years to come.

Connie Brunner, Preschool Teacher. I have been a preschool teacher for St. Michael’s since 1986. I attended college in Florida, and then in Colorado I earned a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have many memories of teaching children for many years.  I love teaching and have now experienced teaching children of former students. I have been married to David for 35 years. Our daughter Rebecca, who attended St. Michael’s Preschool 98-00, lives in Florida with her husband Matt.

Kellie Martin, Preschool Teacher.  Born in Boulder, I am a native to Colorado.  I attended CU and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.   My continuing education hours are in Early Childhood education. I have three boys who all attended St. Michael’s Preschool. My favorite quote is “I loved St. Michael’s Preschool so much that after my children graduated, I stayed, and am still here!”

Clara Kobi, Preschool Teacher. I attended Western State University and graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Early childhood education. I attended Front Range Community College and completed the program for Director Qualification. I live in Hudson with my husband, three children and two dogs. I have taught at St Michael’s Preschool since 2006.

Hannah Marxer, Preschool Teacher. I have lived in Colorado my whole life. I have a degree in Graphic Design and am continuing my education in early childhood education. Married to my high school sweetheart, my husband and I have twin girls and a little guy.  All of my children attended St. Michael’s Preschool. 

Angie Monson, Preschool Teacher. I have been teaching preschool since 2009 and joined the staff at St. Michael’s in 2021. I have a BA in elementary education from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. I am a native to Colorado, and my husband and I raised our three children right here in Aurora where I grew up. I love seeing the joy of discovery on the faces of my students when they learn something new and I love teaching them that school is fun!

Sylvia George, Preschool Teacher. I have worked at St. Michael's Preschool since 2016. I have an Associate’s Degree in Social Science from TNCC; along with continued early childhood education and training. I have worked with infants to preschool aged children for the past 15 years, and I truly enjoy the creativity and excitement that can be found daily in the classroom. I am delighted to be involved both personally and professionally in Catholic education. Being bilingual in Spanish has helped me to bridge children and families to our program. Outside the classroom, I am a Colorado native having grown up in Boulder. I enjoy hiking, camping, and a good book, all while being a mom to my three children and sharing life's adventures with my husband. 

Cindy Daher, Preschool Teacher.  I’m in my 3rd year teaching at St. Michael’s Preschool and love working with the children. My own 4 children attended school here as well. I am the proud Gramma to 8 current grandchildren, and loving spending time with them! I am originally from Indiana but have been in Colorado since 1981, so I am almost a native!

Stacey Morris, Program Secretary. I have been involved with St Michael’s Preschool since 1999. All four of my children attended St. Michaels, and I just loved everyone so much that I stayed as program secretary. I live in Aurora with my husband Jason.
