Ministry Responsibility Description

Brief description of ministry: Coordinate the St. Michael’s blood donation program conducted with Vitalant Blood Donation. The group schedules blood drives held at St. Michael’s during the year, announces the blood drives in the bulletin, registers parishioners for appointments, and assists the Vitalant staff during the blood drive by welcoming donors at the registration table, directing the traffic and thanking donors for their donation.

Qualifications: A friendly, welcoming personality.

Training: No training necessary.

Time Commitment: Two hours per blood drive.

Miscellaneous: Blood drives are held a few times per year.
