Ministry Responsibility Description

Brief description of ministry: Help provide Mass or Communion Services at local Nursing Homes. Members of this Ministry also take the Holy Sacrament to homebound Catholics who are unable to attend church service.

Qualifications: Must be an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion to take communion to persons who are homebound or in a nursing home. Non Ministers of Holy Communion assist people in attending Mass in the nursing home.

Training: Training is provided.

Time Commitment: Weekly for 30 minutes to two hours.
